Wow...31-30 over ISU?!?

I know OU/TX can be different as everyone is pumped up...but it just feels like a year where it's going to be another OU 60+ to TX 7ish.

The big 12 is a dead conference. Texas and Delois dodds killed it.

That's with the 2014 season. This is the last BCS year. There won't be any BCS poll next year. The four team playoff is also picked by committee not by poll rankings.

You bet they killed it; they ranned off Nebraska, Texas A & M, Missouri & Colorado some really good schools in both academics as well as athletics. OU continues to hang on to Texas because of the Red River Rivarly. It's time we take charge of what's left of the Big 12 conference and bring some schools which could make the conference more competitive. The

The other alternative would be for OU/OSU to move on to the PAC 12 or SEC.

I think at the end of the day, OU needs to forget OSU and do what is best for the school. If that means OSU ends up in the Mountain West...oh well.

There is no doubt that this^ is what needs to happen and will very likely happen at some point..
Eventually everybody will be required to stand or fall on their own merits.

You might want to glance at the Baylor - WVU score. I think WVU has gone in the toilet and I think we can assume that Baylor is ligit now. I can't imagine how WVU ended up beating OSU. OSU isn't the championship team they were advertised to be but they still shouldn't have lost to WVU.

I can't complain about the OU defense this year for the most part. It's definitely improved. But Baylor put up 864 yards tonight against WVU. That's not easy against air.

Comparing scores of like opponents is a way to gauge teams and for all intensive purposes those teams have to perform on the field.

Oklahoma & Baylor have two like opponents:

Oklahoma 16 West Virginia 7
Baylolr 73 West Virginia 42

Oklahoma 34 Louisiana Monroe 0
Baylor 70 Louisiana Monroe 7

I wouldn't be so quick to take OU out of the equation. Is there anyone who doesn't think that OU is an elite team or program?

I would be more impressed with Baylor if they had played a Division 1 school with a winning record up to this point.

They are not an elite team at this point in time but things can change in a hurry in the college football universe

It's obvious this is a down year across the board for the conference...I don't think any of them should be BCS worthy this year
