About The Arcadia Lake Trail

Trail Vision
The vision of the Arcadia Lake Trail Coalition is to create a scenic 18.8 mile multi-use trail around Lake Arcadia, which will enable walkers, joggers, bicyclists of all ages and abilities to enjoy the natural scenic beauty of Lake Arcadia. For the high traffic segment, 9.3 miles of the trail with be an asphalt dual trail. Bicyclists will enjoy a 10′ wide trail, while pedestrians will benefit from a 8′ wide trail. The bridges in the section will be 20′ wide to ensure the safety of all trail users. This segment of the trail will connect Edmond’s major parks on the north and west side of the lake. The remaining 9.5 miles of the trail on the lower traffic portion will be a 14′ wide asphalt multi-use trail on the south and east sides of Arcadia Lake, with the bridges measuring 14′ wide. Mountain bikers will be able to access their trails via the paved dual trail and the equestrian trail users will be separated from the multi-use trails. Several scenic overlooks and rest areas will be placed along the trail for users to take advantage of beautiful lake vistas.
