    I like "Weiner-a-go-go" better.

Someone from UJ was on the radio with BBJ yesterday morning - supposedly they're going to have Thunder game shuttles. Wouldn't it be faster just to walk?

Red Prime does this as well, although it is a little farther.

I suppose when the weather is nasty it would be handy.

You could also use Uber from anywhere and it's fast and super reasonable, especially for short distances. You could also use a Spokies bike, as there is a rack directly across from the Peake at the Cox Center.

Urban Johnnies will be one block from the entrance to the Santa Fe garage, which can be used to basically walk inside to the arena. But some people like being dropped off and picked up I suspect. I'd rather walk than wait for a ride personally. It's fun to take the Black Pearl from the Iguana though.

The Iguana shuttle also services DDG, so it makes sense to stop at UJ on the way...

don't mean to hijack the thread but is there a bike rack at all near the Peake, always want to ride my bike to a game on a sunday but always wondered if there was a place to lock up my bike?

Yes the Spokies rack is on the NE corner of Thunder Drive and Reno Ave, although since it's on the north corner it may be Ron Norrick Blvd and Reno Ave.

I think he meant for personal bikes, not bike share, but there are plenty of racks on the MBG grounds.

Ah, I see. If we were like a real city, could just lock it up to a pole. But I'm sure OKC Police would take the bike to the impound, while ignoring the Ford F350 blocking the crosswalk at a stoplight.

Red Prime's not much further, just a different direction. Also another option one can use is a Pedi Cab.

While I'm excited to have a Johnnie's downtown, the logo is horrible.

I think it looks better than the regular Johnnie's logo.

It's not open yet. It's a really awful race between them and aloft to see who can disappoint less.

Me too. Who cares about the logo anyway? (I like it) I care about the burger.

I'm being negative because of how far behind schedule some of these projects are. I'm looking forward to more food/drink options in the neighborhood, for sure.

EXACTLY. Couldn't really care about the logo. If they have good food and beer, I will be there. Unless they force me to eat the logo...

Well logos do matter, just ask Gap.

The Urban Johnnie logo is acceptable though. I actually kind of like it.

The logo is fine, I thought the name was cheesy.

    Johnnie Deuce?

I'm sure they are trying to play off the Johnnie's brand, which has a ton of recognition and value.

If do right -- and I like what I've seen so far -- I think this will be a big smash.

Looking forward to the opening. This, along with Aloft and the expansion at WSKY, is going to completely change Deep Deuce.
