I've been enjoying what may be too many Hatch Chile cheeseburgers at Freddy's lately, but what the heck, it's only once a year they do this.

I live near the Crest Hefner/Rockwell, they've putting flyers advertising their Hatch Chile coming. You can check their website for dates for their stores.

Good stuff! Try chopping some up for your mac n cheese.

Roast them and then blend in a processor with really good olive oil to a pesto consistency. Outstanding to cook with just like you would pesto.

Don't know about Homeland or Sprouts, but Crest has them already roasted. Crest also offers dips, breads, rolls, brats and burgers with hatch chilea in them.
