Trip to Denver (April 18-20 2011)

Here's some video and photos from my trip to Denver a few weeks ago. There are more videos, but I'm focusing on the downtown Denver one. The day turned overcast before I got much video, but I did manage to get some decent shots. I happened to catch their lightrail train go by. I had not been to downtown Denver in seven years, and even then it was after midnight with some friends. This is the first time in the day I had ever been there.

As much progress as OKC is making, we're a long way off from this.

Everywhere I went it was new to me. I couldn't believe it when I turned the street and saw this one. It's like the cousin to the Baum Building! Shame we have nothing like this anymore.

And Denver (City) was also founded in 1858...31 years ahead of OKC. Can we be like that in 31 years? At the rate we're going, I don't see why not...

Maybe with new buildings but I am afraid we will have lost even more of the remaining historical ones.
