after shock just occurred.............
We were trying to describe the sounds and the closest we could come up was those old movie effects with a cattle stampede or the herds of buffalo tearing across the plains...a rolling continuous rumble.
They reported at 11:20 it was upgraded to a 5.6.......
I'm sure they'll revise it again before it's put to rest.

Biggest quake ever in Oklahoma since recording began.
I wonder if the 5.6 is considered to be an aftershock of the first one early today. It's very unusual for an aftershock to be larger than the original event.
I lived in San Francisco for nearly a decade, in 100 year-old Victorians, and in homes built on sand. That was the most powerful and most sustained earthquake I have been through and/or felt.
I keep telling you all they have to do is return our Seattle Supersonics and I'll lift the curse.
I didn't think it was ever going to stop. The house was rattling and felt like it was slung, twice - like a ripple went through. I didn't care for it.
BOOM! This doesn't look good for our beloved precious Devon Tower.
Felt it strong in Surrey Hills (far NW OKC). House rattled for a good 45 seconds. Exciting but scary.
Hey, KOCO is talking on TV right now. The 5.2 wasn't revised to 5.6? They were saying the 5.6 around 11:50pm, so that mean we still have the 5.2 around 10:30pm. Right????
It was 10:53 pm...... 11:50 is probably EST ?
Go look at the USGS link above, it will tell you.
