Oklahoma City man exposes genitals, threatens Chili's customers and attempts to steal soda truck, police say
    (FROM STAFF REPORTS)
    Published: Aug 16, 2010

    FROM STAFF REPORTS

Oklahoma City police arrested a registered sex offender who is accused of threatening customers at a restaurant and trying to steal a soda truck while wearing shorts that exposed his buttocks and genitals.

Dominick Christian Thayer, 39, was still in Oklahoma County jail today with bail set at $9,500, jail records show.

Police arrested him at Chili's, 5301 N Classen Blvd., about 1:15 p.m. Saturday on complaints of assault with a deadly weapon, attempted larceny of a motor vehicle, public indecency and inhaling a harmful substance.

An officer who had just finished his lunch was in the parking lot when he saw a shirtless and barefoot man walk into the restaurant, the report states. Part of the man's buttocks were exposed.

The man walked quickly out of the restaurant moments later and headed toward an RC Cola delivery truck parked behind it, according to the report. He looked through the driver's side window, got inside the truck and tried to start it.

The man soon jumped out and the officer ordered him to the ground at gunpoint, the report states. The man's face and shorts were covered in gold paint, and his genitals were exposed through the shorts' open zipper.

A restaurant patron who was there with his wife and daughter told police the man threatened them with a knife, but he ran away when an employee yelled at him to leave, according to the report.

Thayer has several felony convictions from Oklahoma and Canadian counties dating to 1995, court and prison records show. He has served at least four stints in prison for a total of about 11 years on counts of second-degree burglary, larceny, DUI, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and indecent exposure.

I don't want to live in a society where a man can't get high on gold paint, expose his genitalia and go for a joyride in a stolen vehicle. What is the world coming to?

Yeah, but trying to steal an RC Cola truck? Nah, this one is too far gone to save. Who wants to drink RC, let alone take a truck worth.

Oklahoma City man returns to work to find naked man at his desk
    Published: Oct 12, 2010

    FROM STAFF REPORTS

An Oklahoma City man found an unwelcome guest at his desk when he returned from lunch last week.

The worker found a naked man sitting at his desk Thursday and viewing pornography on his computer, according to an Oklahoma City police report released today.

The employee of the business in the 3900 block of NW 10 did not know the intruder seated at his desk and told police the man didn't work there. He asked the man what he was doing there, and the man told him he was "cleaning and trying to make some money," the report stated.

When asked how he got inside the business, the man said the door was open. The worker told police he must not have properly secured the door lock before leaving, the report states.

Police arrested Curtis John Halberstadt, 57, on complaints of indecent exposure and public indecency. Halberstadt, who was listed in the police report as an unemployed transient, remained in jail today on $2,000 bail.

This was about three blocks from my house. Phenomenal.

Hope there's some stiff penalties headed his way. He needs to do some hard time in the penal system.

(Nov. 11) -- Just because you're swinging a sex toy doesn't mean it's all fun and games.

Police say a dine-and-dash turned into assault charges for an Illinois woman who allegedly walked out on her bill at a restaurant and then attempted to strike a cop with a "clear, rigid feminine pleasure device," according to police reports obtained by AOL News.

The bizarre incident started at Joe's Crab Shack in Gurnee around 7:20 p.m Thursday, when police say 56-year-old Carolee Bildsten ordered a meal and wine but left the restaurant without paying.

Restaurant employees alerted police, saying the same woman had eaten a meal and skipped on the bill two weeks before.

A responding officer scoured the area and spotted a woman matching the perp's description lying on a plot of grass near the Six Flags Great America amusement park.

When informed that she must either pay the bill or face arrest, Bildsten allegedly told the officer that she wasn't carrying any money but had cash at home.

Believing the suspect to be intoxicated, the officer escorted her to her residence.

Once inside, Bildsten "said her money was in her dresser drawer and she opened it and reached inside and removed a 'clear, rigid feminine pleasure device' and held it over her head and approached the officer in a threatening manner," according to a statement issued by the Gurnee Police Department.

"The officer knocked the device out of the way prior to being struck and placed the woman under arrest," the statement continued.

Bildsten was charged with theft of labor for allegedly walking out on the restaurant bill, pedestrian under the influence for walking on city streets while inebriated, and aggravated assault for menacing the officer with a sex toy.

We need to bring back institutionalization...like in the good old days. When I was a teenager in Norman in the 1960's...they used to throw teens who ran from the cops in their cars into Central State Hospital for 24 hours observation as a penalty--worked pretty well...

2 Taco Bell employees accused of being drunk on the job in Oklahoma City, police say
    Published: Jan 3, 2011

    FROM STAFF REPORTS

Police arrested two Taco Bell employees on public drunkenness complaints on Thursday while the men were at work.

Christopher Allen Tull, 28, and James Key, 31, both of Oklahoma City, were booked into the Oklahoma County jail after police found them intoxicated about 10:50 p.m. at the restaurant at Classen Boulevard and Sheridan Avenue, according to a police report released today. They have not been charged.

Tull was later released on bail, but Key remained today on a hold for an unrelated Canadian County warrant for a pending 2006 misdemeanor count of passing a bogus check.

Police said a manager on duty at the restaurant said Key, identified in the police report as the restaurant's general manager, and Tull were supposed to be helping him that night, but left for about an hour. The men returned and made a mess in the kitchen with food “all over the place,” an officer wrote in the report.

The on-duty manager and another employee closed the restaurant to clean up after police took Tull and Key to jail, according to the report.

Tull pleaded guilty in 2008 to Oklahoma County misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia and received a deferred sentence, court records show.
