    You are correct sir. Attempted to skate there once and saw Rare Earth there when it was a club.

    W - Whitaker's Grocery, several locations but I went to high school with several who worked at the NW 39th location in Warr Acres where AutoZone is now.

    I don't ever remember a "major" department store (Dillard's, Foley's/Macy's, Sears, JC Penney, etc.) there. French Market Mall had a Venture store (I don't think they replaced it with a K-Mart after their takeover) and nothing but smaller stores in the mall, the NE corner had a Safeway long ago and CompUSA during the period mentioned, the SW corner had a Burlington before it moved over to French Market Mall along with Akin's and Petsmart and before that it was various clubs, the NW corner had a Kerr-McGee station.
