Default Any credibility to rumor: Chris Paul wants back in OKC?

This rumor has been speculated on ESPN Message Board for OKC that Chris Paul is unhappy in New Orleans and would consider a return to Oklahoma City?

I heard that Chris Paul still has ties with Aubrey McClendon.

Does anyone have any links to this or have you heard anything in this line?

I don't want to get everyone's hopes up!

Oh Well, what the hell, what can it hurt!

Didn't we just get a point guard?

CP3 is not happy with the firing of Byron Scott, and I don't think he was keen on the Chandler/Okafor swap.

I don't see this happening, though, for at least a couple of years. Certainly the Hornets would like some cap relief, but they'd rather move Peja or Morris Peterson or just about anybody other than Paul.

I would trade Collison, Green and future draft picks. Probably two first round picks. Plus cash.

i know everyone loves chris paul but do have a concern about a player who decides he wants to leave because of management decisions. would he do the same here in a year or two? with that being said, i would give up westbrook and both of our first rounders (includes the one from phoenix) this year in a second.

We'd have to throw in Matt Harpring and another rookie to bring the salaries into line.

And I'm not persuaded that CP3 really wants to leave New Orleans.

    Smooth:

Collison doesn't get the credit he deserves. I've seen this guy turn many games around with his ability to rebound and set up opposing team charges.

Collison is definitely the type of veteran you want to keep--he is an icon with the franchise since its Seattle to Oklahoma City relocation! Who says white men can't jump!

You might think so, however, he has been in the NBA for around 15 years or near that. It's time to develop some future hall of famers other than Kevin Durant.

This is Collison's sixth season in the NBA; the Sonics drafted him in 2003, though he missed the entire season with injuries.

On his seasons, I stand corrected (only after double checking the team website). I thought I read it was 15 years in the NBA. I still think he should be traded, however.

Maybe not traded but he shouldn't be receiving alot of minutes each night... maybe 10-12 mins a night. He brings a TON of energy off the bench and hustles every play, which a young team needs both of those. I wouldn't be heart broken if were to be traded but for now he serves his purpose and knows his role.
