Thread: Old Del City Hall

    Default Old Del City Hall

Hey, has anyone noticed the old Del City hall on 29th is vacant and is being taken apart?
Looks like the old place is being torn down. I hear they will build a new Police station there.

29th and Sooner, demolished, 29th and Vickie, demolished.......bad apartment complexes at Scott and I40 shut down and now owned by the Tribes. I hear the tribe is going to put in a hotel and casino.............

They are supposed to tear it down starting the 30th. Gonna get my lawn chair and go watch.................

I have seen the picture of the new police station also. ITs one great looking building and named after a Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty 1965, William H Keith

Del City sold the land to a tribe? A casino? Umm... Del City is actually getting a casino?!

I can't wait to go inside and say, I lived on this land for 3 years!

There's a few other ways, but probably none as fun as drunk and rowdy

Wow, I've never lived in Del City, just Midwest city. However, as any Mid-Del resident does, I got a "few" tickets in Del City. I always thought that municipal building was just the most depressing place on earth. I had to go to court (which actually had quite positive results) for a traffic thing and the ceiling dripped directly on me the entire time. I'm glad to hear they're getting a much needed upgrade (we are talking about the same building right?).

You're talking about the old police station. They already redone the roof there, but they will soon be tearing down that place and build where the old city hall once was.
