This is turning out to be a great looking renovation! The finished product should do the OKC skyline proud! Also, getting anxious on the FNB renovation and looking at the finished product! Should be classy and modern with a vintage twist!
Second photo is of the west facade:
Wow what a huge difference it makes with the new facade! Great photos!
i want to see the cap... but i'm almost at the point of admitting i was wrong when first announced, and that this was a very very good and positive change.
On announcement I thought the new glass seemed sort of imitative (same blue glass look as devon), but it turns out the slightly darker blue is absolutely gorgeous. New skyline looking more modern and 'grown up'.
I see it daily from our apartment near OUHSC and it's been looking great going up.
This is looking really sharp.
I remember the (residential?) AC condenser units on the roof being mentioned years ago... but I couldn't find the post. Do we know if part of this renovation will include removing those? Still surprising how much of a difference this makes so far. Can't wait to see it light up at night!
Almost complete on the east side:
Platform is being installed so they can start on the south facade:
Such a beautiful transformation from the dreary days of the Cotter Ranch Tower!
Yes, this is one of my favorite developments. The skyline will look very modern without the black box, lol.
It's just insane how much a set of windows can do for a place. Wow, just wow. I can't wait for this to be finished!
West side finishing up:
So my question is why are there floors that didn't get new windows? Hope it doesn't stay like this because it looks tacky.
Ok, I just didn't know if they had the same "venting" floors like on the east side.
The lifts are being set up on the south side this morning. Expect to see activity happening soon there now!
On the east side of tower, a portion of the windows where the crown will be are currently occupied by what looks like plywood.
I'll get out there with my drone over the weekend and she what's what.
