I'll be a Monkey's Uncle....: If my nephew did to someone like that Monkey back east did..I'd personally take him out...Or I'd let Prunepicker claim him. That was horrible.....I feel for that lady and my prayers go out for her to the greatest extent....

Don't know if anyone saw the interview but, that lady is in horrible shape but, she had a dead positive attitude.....She said: " I'm the same person I just look different.".... The lady that owned the monkey...I feel sorry for her...That Chimp was a problem animal that had NOT been neutered and was very aggressive. Me personally I don't want to get too close to a wild animal. We had an Orangutan for a promotion with TG&Y he was "Crazy".....

I once kept monkeys during the late 60's until the mid-70's. Squirrel Monkeys and Capucin.
These animals have to be dealt with in a method that few people know. Such as you don't put your hands in their armpits to lift them up. They will go nuts. That's why you see a handler take them by the hands and lift them up. If you don't pay attention and "work" with them regularly they will start to revert to their wild demeanor and habits. Many return to that behavior more than once. Maybe a couple of months or a couple of years but it will happen.
Every once in awhile one would get out and roam the neighborhood. They never went far and the only thing you had to worry about was it might get hit by a car or some kid messes with them.
Augustus got out once and I saw him heading home using the sidewalk. As he went from the curb to the street, the cat that had been stalking him attacked. I thought I might lose him because in a flash he rolled the cat and jumped on his back. That cat was running, rolling, bucking, anything to get away. He finally did and Augustus came home. Have never seen anything that funny since.

    Slow as molasses in January.

What does that have to do with the price of eggs in China?

I think the idea was the irony when someone interjected a statement that
was totally off the wall. Much like the political threads LOL!

How about this:....Just you wait until your Daddy gets home....And then she'd beat the heck out of you.....I didn't know if I wanted Daddy to come home if it was going to be worse than that.....He'd just give you that "Look".....

Not really a saying, but everyone my step dads age (81) and older, walked a a mile to school and in a foot of snow.

He did have a few other stories/tales that he would say, but that's for the OKCTALK-R-RATED THREAD

The "look" was all it took for me after one good whoopin from Dad. I have been told by my grown daughters that I've always had the "look", but I don't see it. It truly struck fear in me down to my socks.
