    3. And do it from the library using an IP anonymizer.

I wait with baited breath (I am not being sarcastic in the least) I can only hope that this turns out to be a big as Metro is making it sound. I am going to buck the trend and put my faith in him and his comments, I hope that I am not wrong in doing so.

I do believe that is a picture of a light rail car.

We should start a countdown to see how much time passes before NewsOK does a story on this.

Very cool......... I can't wait for details.

I've heard some details I cannot yet share. But I will say that the strategy is very well thought-through, pragmatic and eminently expandable.

What the heck is all this secrecy? Just create another account tied to a fake email and post away from your cell phone. Leaks are moral.

(but they might get you fired)

I'll make a guess: plans for downtown/OUHSC streetcar circular route and commuter rail to Norman-Edmond.

"We should start a countdown to see how much time passes before NewsOK does a story on this."

Or let's see how much time passes before someone copies and pastes another NewsOK story. Let's not throw rocks while living in glass houses, shall we? It's these sort of nonsense comments that really make me want to ask Pete to honor my own request to not let MY stories be fully copied here.

I heard about this project a few days. IT is a light-rail system. If it's approved by voters, expect to see it in downtown in 10 years. I think that's the timeline they are looking at.

There is no real new news here, just a promotion and push to make it happen.

When exactly has there been any news on this?

Bryan Dean and I have both written repeatedly about discussions to create a downtown light rail circulator system. Of course, if you don't read The Oklahoman, you might have missed those stories, especially if someone forgot to copy and paste them on OKC Talk.

wow Steve you sound pretty cranky tonight, but I understand why. People on here like to rip the Oklahoman all the time, though not a week goes by that there isint an article posted on here from the paper.

I do like that logo/picture thing...

Sorry, but it's getting very, very old. I'm working another 10-hour day and I see my place trashed on here all the time by the same people who don't mind copying and pasting our stuff on this site for the benefit of everyone but those who toiled to create it. I think it's time newspapers start standing up for their work.

So here's the real story for those who want to go beyond the hype: Jeff Bezdek is launching a web site that promotes including a downtown light rail circulator in MAPS 3. He's doing this after the push for transit in MAPS 3 lost momentum at the latest Greater OKC Chamber. Bezdek is an architect and downtown resident and advocate. I'm not sure if Bryan Dean has this story or not.
So are we any closer to getting a light rail system with this story? I'll leave it to you to decide if this is the most important story of the day.

Ehh! Exciting! Will the website launch at 12:00 midnight? XP
