It was the foggiest! In fact the whole city was foggy for some reason and it
had nothing to do with the air becoming supersaturated. Don't ask. I just
    know these things.

There was weather? Dang! I must have missed that event. At any rate, the
concert was good. At least that's what I've been told... however, I'm not so
sure that the people who were there were really there. It was very much
like a Grateful Dead concert... I think...

papa john creech played with them on that tour.

maybe we both had some "foggy" moments during those concert years.

I had seen Black Sabbath as the opener for so many bands all their music began to mix together.

Did you see Alice Coopers Love it to Death tour?

He opened for John Mayall. Didn't stay for his portion of the show.

I use to have a "Hot Tuna" LP. Is Papa John Creech still alive? Never saw Alice Cooper.

Hot Tuna played in Oklahoma City recently. I think they were at the Conservatory on Western of all places. Blue Cheer played there also. I noticed the bass player of Blue Cheer recently died.

I am into seventies classic rock and progressive rock. I never saw Kansas in the 70's but have seen them 46 times since 1992. They just released a DVD recorded with the Washburn University Symphony that I had the privilege of attending the taping. Kerry Livgren, who wrote Carry on Wayard Son and Dust in the Wind performed on a few songs although he is not a current member of the band. Unfortunatley, he had a massive stroke on September 1 and can not play the guitar right now. The DVD is really good. I saw Yes and Asia this summer in Fort Worth at the Bass Music Hall Downtown. They actually played the Muskogee Civic Center the next night to about 400 people. Steve Howe played guitar for both bands on that tour. He is about 62 years old and can still play really well.

I am talking earlier like 1976 and at the fairgrounds, not the arena. You had: Dylan, Joan Baez, Roger Mcquinn, Kinky Friedman (of the Flying Burrito Brothers fame and a candidate for Texas governor in 2010) and others I am sure.

Scarlett may have played in that 1978 concert.

Don't worry, they didn't really exist. They told me so at Woodstock.

I still haven't figured out what they meant by Music and ART festival.

The "art" was "expressionist" in nature.

And I am sure there was plenty expression going on in and out of the woods.....

Ok everybody check this out. I am a collector of old 50s 60s jukeboxes. I have 16 jukeboxes in my house, yes my house. 6 in the living room and I restored all of them. one in each bedroom 2 in the garage and 2 in my workshop and fixing a couple now. One has all my Elvis 45s from the 60s yes 100 Elvis records in the jukebox. All my records are from the 50s and 60s. What else would you put on a old jukebox. I'm called the jukebox man. Oh I have a wallbox in the kitchen by the table and one in the bathroom. I know I'm sick. LOL You need music everywhere I was told at one time. Gosh I love this site.
