That would have to be Cass Elliot. If I had to choose aliving entertainer to pay to see now, it would have to be Leon Russell again. I saw him a year or so at the casino and enjoyed the show as much as when I saw him 35 years ago.

Does anyone remember some radio jingle like "This is Wiley & Gene, Pickin' and Singin' for Purina Feed" ? I had an aunt that would talk about being woken up to that song and how much she hated it. Who are Wally & Gene?

somewhere in the back room I have a copy of that Jingle...They were a group that sang for the Farm Report. If you can get The Village Idiot to show his smiling face, he can tell you more than you probably need....I got the copy from him. It is on a 78 rpm record......If I can find it, I'll give it to you....

WHAT??? Should that be Grace Slick? If so I hope your talking about her in the years ago mindset. Cause if you are speaking of the present, you have not seen her

recently. Then again, being part of this group of weirdo's you just might mean the present-tense.

Dang it all! You have the treasure trove of Oklahoma stuff. Have you ever considered adopting as sole heir a proud Northeast Viking with Gander Flats ancestors?

Does anyone remember the Buddhi? It was a live music/coffee house back in the late 50's through the mid to late 60's.

It was on N Hudson between 7th and 8th streets IIRC. Used to see Hoyt Axton, Judy Collins among others there on a regular basis. Hoyt's momma was a prolific songwriter.

They served no alcohol there so you didn't have to be 21.
