    I just remembered a past Beverly's location that I don't believe has
been mentioned in any of the posts or threads. There was one at
N.W. 16th and N. May Avenue. The location became the first
    Jimmy's Egg.

We used to go to OTASCO near or in Warr Acres often. We used to go to the TG&Y in Warr Acres. Used to go to C. R. Anthony's to buy clothes--two locations--I believe one on 10th Street (NW), and I believe the other was in or near Warr Acres. I went into Rothchilds some--can't think of the Mall off busy highway.

I do! I thought it was part of the El Charrito chain.

So cool to learn a wonderful part of culinary history in OKC!

Yes. A whale of a car wash, I believe, was the name. That location is now a
    frozen drink drive-in.

Growing up we went to the 16th & Portland location. I went to high school and worked at Skaggs with the pharmacists son (Greg Smith IIRC).

Jandebeur's Honda-Kawasaki was on SW 29th, the House of Kawasaki out at NW 10th & Council is the only one that I knew of on 10th. Our neighborhood bought most of our motorcycles out there and when we started riding we rode on the land on the SW corner of 10th & Council before the subdivision went in out there. We also rode at the north end of Overholser in what is now Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge.

There was a motorcycle shop between N. May and N. Villa on the north side
of the street. It may have been another Jandebeur's.

There was some major 1% biker activity around there in the 60's and 70's.

On NW 10th between May & Villa? About what years? There may have been an independent shop there or maybe a Harley shop. The H-D shop that I remember was Parr's at Melrose & Rockwell during the AMF/H-D years. I also grew up going into the European dealer on MacArthur where Fred Baker Firearms is. I grew up on Kawasaki's but always wanted a Euro bike, well, I have a Triumph now.
