Default Aubrey McClendon increases ownership in KSBI

He might be selling his wine collection, but it appears he is increasing his ownership % in KSBI:

Interesting find. Too bad he didn't have the vision to put their new HQ/studios in downtown instead of way out on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near Piedmont.

Why downtown? That would be like a death sentence for your employees and your on-air talent, having to fight the roads and traffic and parking every day.

Besides, I think heard someone say something once along the lines of "Piedmont is the new Edmond!" ;-)

My buddy who works at that station can't wait for the move. He hates having to drive down to the south side for work.

We are about the only city I can think of that doesn't have at least one TV station based in the downtown area.

I would think that driving to the southside would be the highlight of working for Brady.
