    Isn't the most expensive house mentioned in the article the one that John A Brown used to live in?

    Yes, and it was a Symphony Decorator Showhouse a few years back. It's pretty spectacular. The dining room has the most amazing painted wood ceiling, and there are a couple of killer bathrooms with the old tiles from the 20's and 30s.
