5.1? Is this DVD-A or SACD?

It is a special CD and DVD release with outtakes from the studio, videos, and exclusive radio sessions.

But as far as I know, standard CD's (ones that play on all CD players) won't carry 5.1 channels. Only SA-CD's do. DVD is a different story of course.

I didn't know Pillar was from OK. I see on their website they are based out of Broken Arrow. They rock. We should have had them play at the "Centennial Spectacular". We definitely could have used more than 2 rock bands.

    They aren't nearly big enough.

Let me know what you find in your investigation. This is interesting.

Pillar actually is from Broken Arrow, they promote Tulsa as their home town though since most of the nation is more familiar with that area. They are pretty big in the Christian Rock circle of the world. Good for them. I hope they win.

Don't forget Shawnee's uber cool rock band, Shiny Toy Guns are up for a Grammy as well. They still claim Oklahoma. They are going to blow up as well. They were here about a month ago with Yellowcard and Blue October, show was cool but turnout was horrible, around 500 for 3 huge national bands.

I believe all of the Flaming Lips 5.1 albums are on DVDs, not SACD. A friend has the whole set and they sound great!

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've found.
