Ran across an ad for this in the new Gazette, thought some of you might be interested.

    Start: 11/10/2007 - 10:00am
    End: 11/10/2007 - 4:00pm

10 am to 4 pm, in the Civic Center's HALL OF MIRRORS

Oklahoma City's annual Fall Peace Festival will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 am to 4 pm, in the downtown Civic Center Music Hall's "HALL OF MIRRORS."

More than 40 justice and peace organizations will display materials, crafts, pottery, weaving and artwork to meet every holiday shopper's needs. T-shirts, fair trade goods, organic coffee, books, calendars, clothing, carvings, etc, are on display. A supervised Children's Activity Area will be staffed all day offering face-painting, poster-making, and cooperative games.

Free admission and free parking at street meters on Saturday make the Peace Festival affordable for all families. The Civic Center is located at 201 N. Walker in downtown Oklahoma City.

Well, I live close enough that maybe if I stand on my balcony, I can get a contact high from that crowd.

Are you suggesting that they are a bunch of pot heads with nothing better to do than have a festival; or do you think that peace in general is simply a bad idea; or did you just type the remark in and hit "submit" before you gave it much thought? Just curious.

It will take decades for Oklahoma City's
downtown core to regain its lost gritty,
dynamic urban character, but it's exciting
to observe and participate in the transformation.

Cool...I'll hang at your place then.

Stop bathing now, and I'll bring a couple of nappy dreadlock wigs so we'll fit in.

I assume it'll be basically the same crowd that shows up for the daily demonstrations at 23rd and Classen.
