Default Incredible reading from Oklahoma history!!

I stumbled across the link below by accident. But once I started reading it I found it very fasinating. If you have a free minute take a look at it - I think you'll learn... a lot!

You are welcome! I just wish everyone on OKC Talk would read just a few of the incredibly insightful comments that are posted. I've learned a few things about slavery from documentaries and such - but to read first hand accounts is so powerful!

Thumbs up Re: Incredible reading from Oklahoma history!!

Thanks so much! What wonderful reading!! How much will we lose now that we have become so technologically advanced. Have you noticed how the telephone ruined letter writing and the common being's poetry hidden in the letters' texts? The beautiful written sentiments of our grandparents and their parents are no longer with us And now we have email, IM,s texts. Are we going to lose conversation skills next?
The brutal honesty of the word pictures and the intentional use of the original pronunciation are, to me, marvelously fascinating.
