A decision to allow class 3 e bikes to use city trails is being considered.

I don’t have a problem with Class 1 & 2 e-bikes on the trails. They cut off assistance at 20 mph and lots of cyclists go that fast. Class 3 should not be on trails. They’re fast enough to easily be on the street.
