Also Hefner Grill, The Shack, Pearl's, Brent's.... We have a ton of options.
Man, I can't wait to try this place. I wish they had a muffaletta though. Oh well, can't wait to try literally everything they make here.
I'm sure a big part of the resurgence is due to the healthier aspects of fish, although cajun food is generally very heavy and often fried.
We actually had Cajun before Dallas back in the 80's. Of course you remember Magnolia cafe and the original Pearls, now CHK.
Interestingly, there's now a seafood boil restaurant (Pier 33) in the old Pearls space on I-240. They also just opened in Casady square in the old Jimmy's Egg spot.
Remember when Cajun's Warf was a sensation near I-40 & Meridian?
That's a good 80's memory.
Just drove past their location on I-35 and the parking lot pretty full.
Hope someone from here stops by soon and provides some pics and a review.....
I hope the owner does well. It would be sad to see them close their first year after all that time he put into construction.
Check out the stats on this Facebook post:
Keep OKC weird.
I hope the food is good and the place kills it.
so does that mean there are 2 locations? 36th and Penn and I-35 and 36th?
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
Pretty sure they're not at 36th/Penn, we live around there and the only things on that corner are a strip center with a 7-11, shoe repair and other storefronts, and on another corner is a liquor store and phone store, on another is an abandoned gas station, and nothing on the fourth corner. But I could be wrong and just haven't seen it, they'd have to be in the strip mall...
on I misread Pete's comment in post 17.
would be awesome if such development took place in the gayborhood. ....
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
Anyone know if this place is:
A) Still Open
B) Has their beer or liquor license?
Phone number listed on google is disconnected lol
