Very good point!
The tracks of those tornadoes are unreal. Wobbling all over the place.
Woah, you actually replied to that?!? I thought, "Nah, Venture will just let that pass. No need to comment on something that absurd." I think you actually enjoy it.
Why wasn't the tiger...
It's amazing that 90 miles can make that big of a difference. My brother lives up in Tulsa and he echoed the same thing.
I wonder how much of the misuse of the verbiage and using their own...
Any good radar links you guys can provide that would be useful for those of us with more than a laymen's interest in the weather? I see the link to the NWS radars on your site Venture, but I didn't...
Thanks all!
What are the chances the cap holds and prevents storm initiation?
Does the sun shining here in C OK and S/SW OK start to eat away at the available moisture in the air, or does the heating add more fuel to future storm development?
As a current lab technician (not at the State), labs need specialized HVAC units with HEPA filtration. You also need house vacuum systems, ventilation systems, gas systems, distilled water systems,...

That's a lot of burger places along May north of Memorial...Jonnies Charcoal, S&B, and now Tucker's. I don't oppose this, but my waistline and cardiologist might.

Since your information is so definitive, do you mind telling us how you know all this info? Have you seen the plans?
I wonder if they're planning on having two separate bays of pumps...one facing NW 63rd and one facing NW Expressway. Not to mention they usually have a CNG station in there somewhere. It will be...
*Not sure if this is the appropriate place for this bit of info or not, so feel free to move it if need be*
This is certainly just one person/groups opinion, but for it to be talked about at the...
You've got to be an absolute delight to be around at parties. Every single post of yours in these weather threads are filled with a worst case scenario or doom and gloom. Calm. Down.
Rick Smith @ounwcm 347pm - this is NOT the same situation as last week's OKC metro tornado watch. More linear storms. Mainly hail and wind. Moving in 5-7pm
A-freakin-MEN
Someone with more knowledge than me can answer, but understanding of what I'm seeing from NWS says no. They're less confident about tornado chances in this part of the state. My guess is they're...
NWS Norman @NWSNorman 6m 18Z sounding is in, and we have a pretty stout cap still in place. This will delay any storm development close to central OK for a while
Radar from Dodge City KS makes that storm near Beaver look like its moving NW. Interesting direction.
I like it. The only thing that gets me is everyone has a British accent! That just rubs the historical/OCD side of me the wrong way. :)
