    Re: The Haunted House

Mrs Tritone and I often said "we need to go there." Guess we should have while we could have.

Re: Arnold Palmer dies at 87

Many youngsters will remember him from the Xeralto (sp?) commercial. His part in it really tickles me.
  4. Re: Please help the Northwest Classen High school football players!

We went to the NW game last Friday night and hung around long enough to be among the last dogs to leave. It's amazing how many participants (band, cheer, FB team) were picked up afterwards. Sad to...

    Re: Thank you officer!!!!!!!!!

This might be a misperception, but I've noticed that when certain small-town law enforcement officers stop me for something that in my limited knowledge of traffic laws is entirely legal I'm given a...

^^^Heard that one coming, surprised it took so long. Seriously, good advice given in the early responses.

Re: Directing flood water into road ditches

Careful, if you have water running across your land it might just get declared to be a wetland or a navigable stream or something.

    Re: Chicken fried steak

I finally tried the CFS a Kendall's. While it was okay, I really found it no better than the rest. Huge, yes, and thin. There were actually places near the center where there was no meat, only...

Re: Fine Steak Places in Dallas or Ft. Worth

Yes, I do like Cattlemen's in OKC, and no that's not why I mention Cattlemen's in Ft. Worth. It's in the stockyards, right on the east side of North Main, maybe 26th or so. I've eaten there several...

Poll: Re: Oklahoma Front License Plates?

If this happens, where will my neighbors put their Confederate flag plates?
  17. Re: Driving Forward OK - Oklahoma Turnpike Improvements and New Construction

Likely wouldn't be banked correctly; trucks would need to slow down to 25 to keep from tipping over. Some wouldn't and we'd have cattle running all over the place.

I thought the proper spellings were "Turtles," "Girdles," and "Yo- yos." I could be wrong.
  19. Re: Oklahoma City Blazers possibly to return in 2016

I never was a huge ice hockey fan (although Slapstick was a great movie) but I did enjoy an occasional Blazers game. That puck moves a a little too fast for me to keep up with it. Man, those guys...
