    Re: Carvana

Just sold my Land Rover LR4 to Carvana. They offered $8,000 more than Carmax. I got the offer online, made an appointment on a Saturday and took it in. They looked it over for about 20 minutes and...

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2023-24 Season

Mine went up 28%. I've been grandfathered in under my multi-year contract, so I'm absorbing multiple years of increases in one year. Awesome!

    Re: Classen Grill

Food is great if a bit pricey. Very southwestern flair to the breakfast, but everything I've had has been great.

    Re: New Downtown Arena

Lots of surveyors around the Cox Center today. Not sure what they are doing, but they are there.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2023-24 Season

I've been to at least 10 away games and the arenas are very rarely packed unless it is a game of great consequence. Watch games on TV, and really other than the Lakers and Celtics, there are almost...

    Re: Chesapeake Business Practices

I hope we don't see a Kerr McGee style stealth move to Houston, where they committed to stay in OKC and then slowly moved everyone to Houston over time until they building was empty.

Re: 2023 Oklahoma City Aviation Thread

Same. Clear is a real time-saver in large airports. In OKC it's nice to have, but doesn't shave off that much time on most days.

Re: 2023 Oklahoma City Aviation Thread

One thing that I don't get. How do the numbers work out for Clear in OKC? 6,800 PAX departures per day in a good month. I would guess no more than 1% have clear, so they are helping about 60-70...

    Re: Selling non-producing mineral rights?

You can hire a landman to give you an idea what you really own and if there has been any activity in the area. That said, conventional O&G wisdom is that you never sell minerals. Their value is...

    Re: Airline: Best and Worse?

Have flown a number of international airlines. So far, I think Emirates has been the best. Business clas was great, but was also fortunate to score an upgrade with points and fly a 4 hour segment...

Re: 2023 Oklahoma City Aviation Thread

Just a report that we flew American on the direct from DCA yesterday and it was great. Pretty new A320 that was completely full. We got a nice meal on the flight (we splurged with points and were...

It just seemed weird. The menu wasn't trying to be just snacks, but it wasn't really like a full dinner menu either. It just seemed like it wasn't going to bring anyone in. The place was nice, and...

    Re: New Downtown Arena

I've asked this question before, but it's worth bringing up again.

    Re: Penn Square Mall

We were in the mall last weekend and it does not look good. The Microsoft store is now an "Everything's $8.99 store." which is fine, but not for an upscale mall. I had to laugh at the big sign...
