Re: Homeland at Lincoln and NE 36th

I will echo the above comments about how good it is to have a full line grocery store in this area. It is very close to work, and currently the closest to home. However, am I the only one noticing...

I’m pretty sure the Brown’s were not preventing it. It was the QuikTrip founder’s respect for Bill Brown and his early career advice that kept them out of this market.

    Re: Will Someplace Else reopen?

So, nothing I guess. I haven't been by this week, but others are telling me it is still closed. I figured somebody on here would have some connections with information.

    Will Someplace Else reopen?

My apologies if this has already been asked. I didn't see it in search. Does anyone have any insight on when Someplace Else may reopen? Is everyone ok? We are really missing those sandwiches!

Yes, there’s still a few of us that still collect things like that. Also, I’ve found some really great stuff on his cassette wall.

The food service is open in the Jim Thorpe building as of last week. They are operating under the name Health Nut Cafe. I think it may be the folks from the Quizno's, but I hadn't been in there for...

Re: Old Oklahoma City Phone Numbers

And now you can also transfer your old land line number to your mobile carrier. My mother still has her Jackson exchange number, but it is on her AT&T mobile phone now.

I seem to remember that the DVD may also be available at the OK History Center store, but I would call them first to make sure.

Re: Old Oklahoma City Phone Numbers

I miss the fact that the numbers were tied to a geographic location. You always knew what part of town someone lived in by their phone number.

Also, remember the old county codes on the license...

    Oddity on N. I-35 near NE 36th

  22. Re: What's the City's Problem with keeping up with street light maintenance?

For the first question, I'm sure it is technically possible, but would probably be cost-prohibitive to install. As for halogen or LED lights, neither are used for roadway lighting. Again, cost is a...

Do we know if those crossings will reopen? I noticed the new steel barriers on the 14th street crossing as well. I know that the 12th street crossing has been closed for some time now.
