Looks like fabulous downtown Britton is getting nice makeover! Not sure but it appears the two-lane portion is being lengthened eastward and maybe diagonal parking added?

Whoa—Nice work, Urbs! That’s a whole new bit of NEside narrative to ponder.
Now I’m wondering if the bnsf Logan Co grade crossing predates the school.
Been there done that. Just today in fact when writing a note to the Logan County Historical Society. Seems like the N Bryant stenciled on the signal cabinet on the rail crossing at Academy is...
Thanks Derek!
Also, while poking around Logan County as a rail fan I noticed the BNSF ROW grade crossing at Academy that the signaling cabinet is labeled N Bryant, and is indeed on the same line...
That’s kinda my thinking as well, Jose, re Ok Ballet. However, just north is a short downhill to the north and it often has water as well. Hunch says it’s a natural spring.
So, what space is Osteria moving into? I saw a reference in the Britton fb group that it was one of the old gas stations.
Lincoln lead, that’s a nice little tidbit to know—Thanks!
I know they switch Cytovance pretty routinely, as well. Not sure what part of the drug manufacturing process requires railcars of product,...
Right, the crossing at ~ 30th. I think BNSF is making some other improvements in the Nowers area, which, if accurate, may or may not be related to the grade crossing.
Every season, all the years. Just curious, and impressed with its consistent nature.
This crossing upgrade was due anyway, but I’m wondering if the project is indicative of other improvements to Santa Fe or maybe even for BNSF’s existing customers. Is there an overarching plan being...
Seems like a great spot for a pickle ball endeavor!
Thanks for the follow up, Pete!
What is the 2.5 BNSF rail rehab piece?
Clearing and prep has been going on this summer. Anyone know what the project is?
Thanks Mid, Studying, et all! My fam has lived off of what turned out to be Bryant since the land run. I’ve never heard anybody refer to it as anything other than Bryant… and those are some old...
For whom or what is Bryant Avenue named?
I was assuming that new stuff was for the Canyon Park trail.
Is there work underway for the “Canyon Park” area? It’s a little secluded in there so hard to see if it is. Mostly curious about the trail’s path under BNSF, through Lincoln, and over to Kelley,...
Not being of sufficient deftness to obtain renderings of this project, I’m wondering if the little e/w crossover bridge from Bryant/WFrtg Rd to EFrtg road will remain intact. Early morning...
Just a general curiosity and enthusiasm question here, but IÂ’m wondering where weÂ’re at as a state for applications and efforts toward increasing services, destinations, and connections for the...
Lane closure signage ready in place starting at sb Wilshire entrance and MLK. Next phase starting?
This thread surprised me with some happy side info: I’ve been trying (admittedly with patience of a cat waiting for a mouse to perhaps wander by…) for the location of the Katy depot. And there it is!...
Hey all, just curious about the clearing going on west of Grand and NE 63rd. Kinda interesting to see that old mostly-underground house adjacent/south edge of 63rd embankment have in innards exposed.
It did, but I have more!
It is indeed an interesting experiment, and will last as long as there is electricity, at least—I hope!
This is all part of a larger over all look at the “Witcher”...
Yep, dermatologist. I went to school with his son at Millwood.
But was that the house the OP had in mind, I wonder.
Thanks for checking into it. I'm not finding much either but I did find another picture of the site in 1959, coincidentally because of a grass fire that was in the same place as the one a couple...
