    Re: Restaurant closings

Totally agree. As a kid we would go to the one pump 7-11 on Britton and Rockwell. Nothing like riding your bike home with a Suicide Slurpee.

Last year, I had one of the worst experiences at the Nichols Hills location. Most of the lights weren't even on, and a large window had a giant crack in it. The food was stale and didn't taste fresh,...

I don't want to look back at all this nonsense to see if you actually named the retailers besides Nordstrom that you are speaking of. Please lay down the knowledge you have on what retailers would...

    Re: OAK (formerly Penn Central)

As much as what you are saying makes sense, you leave out the fact that most younger generations make purchases online. Younger affluent generations are less likely to shop on-site at a store. Even...

Classen Curve has co-existed with the Belle Isle Station and Penn Square for years. This is another reason why Oak developers see this as the perfect spot.

Quad Construction has started on this project. They have their logo on the fences and dumpsters out front being filled.

    Re: Tous Les Jours

I decided to go during my lunch hour. I had a delicious egg salad sandwich and tried to get as many pastries as I could. They were clearly already running out of many of them. I got the tote bag,...

I will say that a ton of people love parking there. When there is a large, crowded event, people take advantage of that parking. I hate that no development is moving right there, but the parking lot...

    Re: Mayfair Shopping Center

I disagree. I think it is always important to ask questions about what is being developed in certain areas. We have lost a lot of what makes a community easier to walk and live in, and we keep adding...

I grabbed dinner at the Collective and saw the menus were up here. I'm not sure of the open date, but they are close.

In a Pickle - Owl Court

I wasn't sure if anyone had tried this place. I loved this sandwich! It is called "First Name, Bologna!" It has Pickled Pimento cheese with burnt bologna ends. It came with Plantain Chips.

Looks like BMS Homes has set up fencing around this to start updating the house. They were cutting tree limbs when I drove by earlier.
