Oh what I would give for this place to just get rain. No hand wringing over a thunderstorm, no excitement over chasing tornadoes. Just regular old rain without any drama.......

If BNSF and / or UP were to build an intermodal facility there it could become a huge logistics hub. Probably not on the level of Alliance TX, and maybe OKC is too close to Alliance to make it viable...

He is one of far too many land squatters in this area. Norman and OKC have several high profile properties in the hands of people with like that......but it's probably asking too much for all...

In fact, it is the opposite of cutting edge - it is the way we once built villages, town, and cities. These are always the most desirable parts of urban areas and the places Americans love to visit...

This is going to be a very nice area - and certain to be jammed for the first several weeks/months. Hopefully it will be wildly successful and encourage more development like this around the metro.

That is a huge part of not doing it "on the cheap". In order for HSR to take the place of, or provide another alternative to, mid-range flights of 500 miles or less, entirely new rights of way...
