i was curious what this looked like in practice and found some videos on youtube... skip ahead to 30 seconds in:

there you go... with tasteful yet patriotic guitar burning just after.
as long as it's enrico palazzo's rendition of the anthem, i'm ok with it.
i don't think duane eddy is *that* obscure... play the opening of miserlou and just about anybody is going to think of pulp fiction or the black eyed peas. few may be familiar with the name, but...
i think it'd be reported more widely if that were true. besides, his social media has posts more recently than that.
EDIT: here's a person from bethany that passed away on the 20th that shares...
arggh... my memory last night was faulty. the place was called "trends express"... that's why i wasn't able to find any informaiton online.
apparently, trends express was a local chain that was...
i must be getting my chains mixed up... didn't levi's operate mall stores under the name "jeans express" in the 80's and 90's?
can confirm that they're open... i happened to drive by on tuesday around noon and based on the parking lot they were fairly busy.
oh my... i'm pretty certain that i need that muffaletta in my life.
i totally understand the brick, but i wonder why they chose to remove the decorative columns on the second-floor arches. maybe they plan on enclosing that section?
according to facebook, kong's is closing... last day is april 28th. the post says "not for good", so perhaps it's a format change.

i had a chance to snap a pic on saturday... looks like most of the brickwork is up:
18753
sometimes my attempts at humor are a little too dry... looks like today is one of those days. : )
ah... so, can you clad a 100ish story tower in eifs? asking for a friend.
^gotcha... google maps labels that as "407 nw 5th st parking." given that, i had assumed that 405 would've been on the east side of hudson.
i think that address would put it on the same spot as the regency which was built in 1967.
perhaps there's a valid reason that i'm not considering... but it just seems kind of crappy to have a park that's paid for by the public and not actually available to the public.
they're getting pretty close to finishing up the exterior... last i saw, brick is up about 3/4 of the way to the top. i'm really happy that it's not mostly eifs.
i just saw it out of the corner of my eye this past monday, so i don't have a ton of details... but the johnnie's at i-240 and walker seems to be re-opening with a new concept. they have a "now...
i started to dip my toes into the hobby last year. i have just one printer, an elegoo neptune 3 max, and it's been pretty fun to use. what printers do you run?
there are a few 3d printing services around the city, but i don't know of any place that sells filament. if you absolutely want to buy from a brick-and-mortar, one of those might be worth reaching...
it was just speculation... honestly, i don't see simon investing that kind of money on the property in the near future.
i wonder if it would be feasible to add another story or two to the existing structure.
juuust in case it was funny in my head but nobody else's... i only worked 'average' into my post to play off your use of 'bell curve.' i didn't mean for that to be an actual critique of your post.
