I hope the young girls, which were nearby at Scissortail during this moment, won't be treated the way the lyrics were being placed in public. Shameful at best. Crude and rude.
I was walking at Scissortail this weekend along with a zillion other people. At one of the street intersections, a car stops for a red light. With their windows down, they had their stereo system...
Absolutely, we've made great strides in many areas from technology, medical and other areas of advancements. But it appears when it comes to people exhibiting rude and crude communication -we've...
My only point was my surprise how much change I saw in the particular part of Dallas I was visiting since I hadn't been there in several years. There is no hidden message or agenda.
I'm quite familiar with English.....other languages, not so much.
I would love to see an updated census when it comes out. I bet its changed quite a bit .
I recently spent four days near Dallas (Frisco/Allen). I haven't been in that area in five years. I was amazed at the diversity of people there. In one particular mall I went to those who spoke...
It would have served them well to have hired a top-notch staging crew for a space there. For some, it's difficult to see potential when all you see is concrete everywhere.
Opps....yes, am not pm.
Driving north on the Broadway Extension the flow of traffic speed....between 75-80mph. Not kidding. Apparently between 5:30-6:30am that stretch of road is not patrolled.
Oddly, I can think of the best airline....only bad ones. Why has flying become so incredibly frustrating? I used to really enjoy the overall experience.....
Penn/I44 -drove by today. Its the worse I've seen in years. 1/2 dozen homeless -one ton of debris and trash. Bad, bad.
Would we be having this discussion if the Thunder was on a back to back winning streak?
I wonder......
Apparently, you've had much better luck getting a response than I have. I've reported lots and lots of streetlights (not traffic lights) which haven't worked in two years. In my drive to work early...
It seems like a fairly small land coverage. Not sure if a active business could fit in that location.
It appears ground work as begun on the empty lot just north of The Metropolitan on Oklahoma Ave just south of 10th street.
Any idea what the project might be?
Yes, the big challenge is how to help those who refuse the help. I suspect the percentage of those who refuse help is much higher than we imagine.
This issue is so complicated.
I was thinking more about food and restroom facilities for that large number. I can't imagine.....
From Reuters News Service regarding tropical storm Hillary:
"Officials said Los Angeles county's 75,000 homeless people were especially vulnerable, as were hillside canyons and areas recently...
I walked by this location last night around 7pm. The line waiting to get their food was long, maybe 50 people deep.
You're right about the concrete. I live nearby and concrete pouring on this site starts by 5am each morning...weeks and weeks of pouring concrete.....
I drove by this project for the first time this week. While the project itself is impressive, to say the least, the approach off of I-35, then driving east under the underpass is so bad, so sketchy...
This is a fantastic view/pic. This should be used in promo's of all types.
I doubt HoneyBunny Bisquit Company isn't so excited about this. Ah....competition.
