    Re: Devon Energy Center

I can't believe I missed this Tuesday night. I didn't even think to look up. I will make sure to look up tonight however. Unless we lose to Dallas of course and I am hanging my head.

These late games are killing me. But on the bright side, the Thunder are in first place in the West!

I read this story in the NYT yesterday and immediately thought of the Boardwalk project. What a nightmare.

I was a big fan. I knew he was sick but was shocked to see how sick he looks in the latest season of Curb. I am glad he got to work until the end of his life.

Shai is a special player. If you haven't seen him play in person, please make a point to see him.

I got an email early in the season with a code to put in at purchase. I believe it was new last year. Call your Rep and ask him/her.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2023-24 Season

One perk of being a season ticket holder is a league pass subscription. Of course the Thunder games are blacked out but it is nice to be able to watch all of the other NBA games.

Re: OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark

Sorry I wasn't clear that the machinery is actually moving dirt "in" the river. I was hoping maybe that they are getting ready for a potential bridge between Wiley Post and the lower Scissortail...

I just reread this entire thread. It is amazing how long this project has taken! There are some fantastic pictures that Pete took when he still lived in California when he was on a trip back "home"...

Re: OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark

I have seen some big machinery moving dirt between Walker and Robinson ( I think, it could be between Western and Walker?) since the river has been drained.

Like Bill, I have some close ties to Mayfair. My grandparents lived both west and east of May when I was growing up and I lived in Mayfair Heights for about 4 years when my children were little in...

Re: January 2024 - General Weather Discussion

I've also seen them at the Zoo lake and on the river. I had a friend that tended to a lame Pelican she named Charlie at Lake Hefner for years. After she died in 2021 I
    wondered what happened to him.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2023-24 Season

That alley oop Chet threw to himself off the backboard brought the house to its feet and it was hyped after that. I had the feeling of "We're back!" as I was leaving and the crowd was chanting O-K-C....

This stretch is most definitely a big test to see how good the Thunder really are. I am glad most of these games are at home.

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2023-24 Season

That 4th quarter was insane. A 30-0 run is historic. The fact that the 2nd youngest team in the NBA currently pulled it together (with no timeouts left) is a testament to how good this team can be....

You just brought back a memory for me. My grandmother lived in Linwood at 18th and Drexel when I was growing up and I could definitely hear that sound of the races from there.
