    Re: Chrysler Plymouth Building

My only hope is that this is epoxy or polyaspartic coating and not polished concrete.

    Re: Chisholm Creek

Yup, and it's pretty suburban tbh. I still like it and it will probably be a similar plan for this development.

    Re: Scissortail Park

THIS. I was pretty shocked that they didnt bring in mature trees. I know it is rather expensive but it makes such a huge difference.

    Re: Lincoln Plaza

That pool is going to end up as an entertainment legend. I wouldnt be shocked to see them selling tickets to events around it.

    Re: NE Youth Center

I think this is my biggest concern too. In Dallas they run around 50,000 sqft.

Some cities choose to separate the water works area but the total us usually bigger with room to grow.

    Re: NE Youth Center

More than the size, although that is what i alluded to, i'm just not a fan of the overall layout and the way the space if used. I think they will open short of storage space. Also, i get the need...

    Re: NE Youth Center

This is small, but I'm glad they are doing something. When i look at the renderings I already feel cramped. I dont like it, seems subpar in almost every way.

No aquarium, no bueno for may family's vote. One of the main reason many people distrust the Maps program is due to corporate leveraging and politics. I can't think of any reason for this to be...

I'm not sure that market is capable of supporting a larger grocery store. However some like a Fresh & Easy, Neighborhood market, or Walgreen's( Fresh and Ready) grocer with a smaller footprint may be...

Their 6x4" logo on my Thunder jerseys wasnt enough. Now they will turn my great lawn yellow too? :-/

    Re: Steelyard

You include them to allow for growth. I'd imagine those unit look better to companies once that parking lot adjacent to Steelyard is populated with a like minded project. Then you have an organically...

    Re: City Jail

What a terrible location for most businesses. My only though would be to turn it into a museum and events hall. Take down two or three floors to create the necessary space and the police can have...

    Re: RFP south of arena

OKC tax payers pay approx. $4mm towards subsidizing the Thunder's payroll. They are doing just fine.

I wonder. Is the work around for the TIF assistance in calling this an "entertainment district" instead of a building? Semantics and such. If you guys are all saying that it is pretty obvious that...

    Re: RFP south of arena

Ok, so this looks to be a brewery/restaurant which eases my concern. I do wonder about the operators. Maybe just a mini D&B would do better for longevity. Would a corporate brand be willing to pay...

I absolutely hate it. What is in the arrowhead? Is that a brewery? I dont really understand just making it a huge bball court. There should be seating and space for a live performer. The parking...

I still find it strange that they didnt place the concrete for all the roadways and parking prior to construction on the homes. Did they have a delay in approvals from ODOT or the utilities? I...

Absolutely the Rose Rock proposal wins. Remember this is not showcasing any of the retail space. If i think about a long impact, the commercial space will have a much larger influence on the area...

    Re: Midtown Hotel

It isnt pretty. In a vacuum it is quite ugly. However, with the surrounding architecture, it fits in quite well and has the bravado of a 1970's exclusive office building. Good enough, I suppose.

Still looks like a lot of surface parking in there. I wonder, do they play to convert that to retail/parking in the future?

    Re: MAPS 4 Stadium

I know many people may not want to hear this but I am a firm believer in developing the infrastructure for growth. I applaud the presentation for the stadium, but i personally, think they should...
