Id love an NHL team but they’d have to compete with the Thunder during the same time of year and I don’t think the city could support both, although I’d love to be wrong.

OKC's metro is larger than SLC's but their CSA is substantially larger. The CSA boundaries they have are effing massive though as well. Like an entire third of the state. It even spills over into...
Think it's grown here but I don't think it's really done in a mass scale like in other states. Think OK is more of a cattle/wheat state. Although, I'm possibly the worst person to ask about this...
Had this proposal been to just match the height of Devon, that alone would have made me think, "whoa, that's crazy! I don't know, we'll see..."
The whole project is so bizarre so I think he just means to punctuate how out of place this thing is. Which it definitely is.
Don't think it's malicious, just funny. He probably assumes we grow...
"...overlooking sprawl and farmland."
Notable farming powerhouse, OKC.
Why don't they work in downtowns?
Not sure if there's just a generic "OKC Film" thread so I figured I would mention it here:...

I think there are several other reasons why Oklahoma/OKC will likely never be "right there" with Texas in terms of growth.
There should just be a separate OKC-Tulsa Argument thread or something for this stuff.
“No one uses X.”

If I don't want to do it then it means it's dumb and a waste of time. Pretty simple really.
Is OKC even in a drought?
Would have been nice for the state to land a car manufacturer that has a feasible chance of existing for longer than 2 years from now.
This whole super tall thing is so bizarre and fascinating. Makes for great discussion forum fodder so I’m all for it.
Cuttino Mobley was listed as an “investor” in the NewsOK article. Just so...
Came across the post about this on Facebook. The “where are we supposed to park?” comments never get old.
Nothing like listening to an NBA podcast and there’s a 30-second betting ad followed by 45 seconds of them listing gambling addiction hotlines.
Perhaps off-topic, so feel free to remove. But this is an interesting video about a student trying to commute to and from class using the Heartland Flyer. He makes an argument for commuter rail at...
What was the quote someone on here said? “Oklahoma City is a great place for a scam.”
Good company to be in then.
