I think this pulls a fair share of dollars away from Bleu Garten when the weather is nice. However, after waiting over 1.5 hours for a table at Halls Pizza on a Friday night I do believe there's...

Agreed re let's not lose sleep over driver-less cars. This article came out literally two days ago. It's a long way off.

Best theory I've heard yet. That or some kind of twisted tax write off scheme.

    Re: Parkside Building

Oops. I saw "Together Square" and confused it with the park near the Parkside building. Carry on.

Did anyone attend the event where they broadcast a movie on the side of the building? I know the OKC Energy and COOP are teaming up to do the same thing with the upcoming USWNT game on Sunday at...

    Re: Streetcar

Anyone have the updated ridership numbers through June? 6 months of data will be good info!
  7. Re: Oklahoma City street festivals and neighborhood activities.

I saw photos of this event. Looks like an awesome turnout. I wish I would've known about it. I read most everything re OKC happenings and didn't see a thing about this. Maybe I overlooked it

Let's meet up for coffee. You've said in an earlier post you know who I am. My username is pretty obvious. If we studied together at OU at the same time we should hang out and discuss. I genuinely...

    Re: Restaurant closings

That building is so doomed. It's on Memorial but sits far from the road. It looks like a "big box" chain restaurant from the exterior. That place had no chance to succeed despite the admirable...

    Re: MAPS 4 River Improvements

This is the most exciting MAPS 4 element I've seen to date. The river is a great asset but needs to be built out. Connecting trails will go a long way in encouraging use of the system we have. Other...

I hope his interim term is a massive success and that he is chosen as the next permanent President of OU. Boomer.

Board of Regents published their agenda for an 8:15 meeting, tonight. I'm predicting we have a new President announced tomorrow. Smart money says Joe Harroz. If not Harroz could be Turpen. If Turpen...

I don't think the budget is nearly as bad as the news would have you believe. It's been said before in this thread, but when you compare OU's budget and debt status with other like-kind state...

    Re: OU President Gallogly

That is fair. I am making a big assumption and it is an unfair one. (I'll leave the comment but I'm abandoning it) That said, T.W. Shannon's resume is not of the caliber I would expect for a job as...

Am aware. Are you suggesting that Cameron and Rose State have the same bar to entry as OU? Cause that's my point.

Compare ACT entry requirements and you'll see what I mean.

I'm eagerly awaiting updated ridership numbers. Last weekend's weather was amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the highest ridership in the "pay-to-ride" era.
