We would always go to Shotgun's on Air Depot. I can still hear the live band playing No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Great memories, thanks for the post.
I know OKC does not have the landmark structures as Berlin Germany. I thought it would be awesome if the city could put something on like this. Imagine Sand ridge tower, First Christian Church on...
I agreed P R are great apartments and the P R Villas are as well. Good luck in your search.
I belive the building next to Red Prime was demolished in 1978 or early 1979. I have a piece of it in my backyard as a architectural remnant. I thought there might be a pic in Oklahoma Images with...
I love all the pics Pete, great job and we love you for it. Three hoorays for you. What screen in the National Western Center on? This page has me a bit confused?
Just purchased a small deep freeze and want to buy some beef and chicken to fill it up. Who has suggestions for the best place to by meat. Quality and price are my biggest concerns.
Pete, your killing me with your aerial shots. Can't wait to see them all. :-}
Who in the OKC Talk remembers the clubs and restaurants of the late 70's and 80's?
The ones that come to mind of course is Micheal's Plum on NW 63rd and Grand. It was by far the best club the city...

It was in Gatewood, just off Indiana and it was a full blood Schnauzer. Me, I have three pound rescue dogs.
Just heard from a friend who was walking their dog on 6/2. He was accosted by three guys. They pulled up and one got out and said, “ we are taking your dog” and bulled up to him. He said did the...

I think I had that record.

I would look up the address in old city directories in the downtown library. In the 1951 directory 608 NE 8th shows Maud Sommers Beauty Shop and in the rear a J C Melton.
I could be wrong but, I always thought this was built as an apartment house, not a private residence.
Was it Ozzie's Fish Market?
I am about to bite the bullet and have my yard sodded. It is semi-shade and the Bermuda is dying out. I have heard about Buffalo grass and others that are low maintenance. I would not be apposed to...
Here is a site that specializes in vintage aerial shots. I have not used them but, stumbled across their page. http://vintageaerial.com/photos
Here is a link with an add for GEX. ...
My Great Grandfather homesteaded the area that is now Hefner Rd and Hefner Parkway. I have seen a pic of my Grandmother standing on the NE section of the rock dam wall. It was nothing but dirt, no...
