An owner that brings in significantly more in revenue and tourism for that building than anything else would.
There you go. Thanks Chad for the clarification.
Interesting. I knew cost was a factor, but I thought there was a disagreement with the railway in creating a tunnel. Not sure where I got that from. Thanks for the clarification.

It has to do with the existing Eastpoint development, not the hotel.

If I remember correctly, it didn't have to do with the city, it had to do with BNSF not wanting it there. I know there are more details than that, but that was the basic jist of it.
MOB at the Parlor was one of my favorite burgers in the city, but I had it a few weeks ago and it was nowhere near as good as it was in the past. Not sure if anyone else had a similar experience.
I read this and all I could think of was The Big Lebowski... Hopefully someone understands the reference.
Ah, got it. I forgot that was there. I have driven by it multiple times but didn't know that's what it was called. Thanks for the clarification.

My wife and I went to a game earlier this year after the arena vote passed (which I was all for and she questioned) and when we left, she said, "ok, I get why we need a new arena now..." It's the...
Yeah, it is an extension because you can get food from Sauced and a drink from the bar and go in there.
I talked to the GM for about 15 minutes and he had some great, cool ideas for the space, but...

Maybe, but would they be clearing everything out from the inside? There is not much left in there. I would think a rebrand would just be new signage and not a full clean out.
The old Kelly Moore Paints on the NE corner of NW 23rd and May had the sign taken down and work is going on.
Not sure what it will turn into, but hope it's not another dispensary or something like...
Man, that signage place is going to be huge (end sarcasm)
This building has been in the same state for months. I hope something is being down behind the scenes. It's in rough shape.
I ate at Sauced today for lunch and got a chance to look at the new arcade they are going to open. They have the main part of the restaurant and then the bar upstairs. Behind the bar, they are...
Yeah, JDub hit 26% for 14 points. I don't know what his season average is, but I know it is higher. He was just off tonight. Chet had a great game. We need some more points off the bench. If Wiggs or...
Any word on when they would start work? I like that red carpet, but can easily go to the one on May instead.
Yesterday was a great day to plant things. The ground was soft due to the rain Sunday morning, then it dried up and we got rain Monday morning.
I ate there three times and it the upstairs area always seemed out of place. You had waiters in white shirt and tie, nice white table clothes and eating a big, drippy (delicious, I might add) burger...
