    Re: Covid-19 in OKC (coronavirus)

In fairness, this isn’t an easy virus to contain. There were a lot of folks in this thread spiking the football when Europe contained the first wave, but that continent is now in the middle of a...

    It’s okay.

Not everyone is in a position to know the facts about those schools.

    Re: Covid-19 in OKC (coronavirus)

I guess most of the Private Schools in OKC are completely open and the case counts are staying very low. Has anyone else heard the same?

    Re: Covid-19 in OKC (coronavirus)

it’s less of a leadership issue and more of a “Rugged American Exceptionalism” issue. Mandates are in place, after all.

    Re: Plaza District

There’s definitely some folks who are burned out, but it’s such an easy thing to do. Businesses are literally giving masks out for free, and there are a lot of people who actually look more...

    Re: Covid-19 in OKC (coronavirus)

I’ve noticed the OnCues in Edmond are the absolute worst about enforcing the Mask Mandates. If anything they should be fairly strict given the tight quarters and heavy traffic counts, but it seems...

    Re: 2019-20 OKC Thunder

Are they going to re-adjust these contracts to reflect that total basketball revenues are going to run significantly below projections, at least for the foreseeable future?

    Re: CARES Act Funding

Fair enough, but the CARES Act doesn’t really care where a business’s assets are located. It is focused on where the employees are located.

So whether the museum is in DC or Oklahoma is a bit of...

    Re: CARES Act Funding

The museum has plenty of jobs located here in OKC. Not sure I see the angle as the CARES act makes no distinction between a for-profit or non-profit employer (or even religious non-profit for that...

    Re: Memorial and MacArthur

Would look a million times better if they spent some money burying the power lines and putting in some evergreen-type landscaping along the frontage, but none of the developers / tenants seem...

    Re: 2019-20 OKC Thunder

Agreed. Westbrook put up 7 points (on 23% shooting) and grabbed 6 rebounds.

Hard to overcome such a fantastic performance!

Or maybe you just don’t like anything about OKC?

I actually like wearing my collection of Masks.
Always been a bit self-conscious when I go out.
    But now I’m not.
