    Bricktown Limos

    What's the scoop?

We were all set (and paid-in-full) to use one of their old cars for our wedding in a couple weeks.

This morning my fiancée got a call from our wedding planner that Bricktown...

    Re: Falcone's expands to LBT

Not a chance. Normanites know and love NY Pizza and it has a great location to campus.

Falcone's would have been far away from campus on Lindsey Street. Everything that has ever moved into that...

    Re: Falcone's

They're no longer putting one on Lindsey St. in Norman.

The sign came down about a month ago and a 'For Lease' sign went up.
  4. Re: 9/8 - Hurricane Katrina Benefit Concert in Bricktown

It went really well. A lot of people came out and we raised over $3000 for the American Red Cross.

The downer of the night was one of the bands had to cancel because their drummer was arrested...

If he was rich, he wouldn't be living with his family in the dorm room of a college quarterback right now.

Re: Gazette's Best of OKC 2005 Winners

Mostly, these awards are about who has the most saturation and/or who has the most money to lobby for the awards.

My website was up last year for Best Local Website and finished fourth.

Out of all of these, I'd say don't miss The Hero Factor, Twenty Minutes to Vegas, 2AM, Shiny Toy Guns, Gooding and The Stock Market Crash. That's not to say the other bands are...

    Re: Dusty Dvoracek

    You're WAY off base here.

He put a guy in a coma. Not just someone, but one of his friends. If the guy had chosen to sue or press charges, Dusty wouldn't be a free man right now.

    I hope he has...

    Poll: Re: Bricktown Casino

The more I think about it, the worse this idea seems to me.

Put it on the river close to Bricktown, fine. Let them pop up all over Highway 9, fine. Put one in Bricktown, no way.

    The only way...

Probably the biggest blues act around right now is Watermelon Slim. His site is down right now, otherwise I'd link it. He's received a lot of national attention for his newest album and just signed...

Re: East Bricktown Music Festival - August 19-20

They haven't announced with bands play which day. I'll update it here when they do.

Gates open at 5pm Friday and 1pm on Saturday. I imagine things will last until 2am on both days.

Most of them are from Oklahoma.

There will be a handful of them from Texas, California, etc. Most of those haven't been announced yet.

East Bricktown Music Festival - August 19-20

This was announced on my site the other day. I think it's a great way to expose the public to a bunch of local bands.
