SGA just willed this team back into it. Cason Wallace also with the fantastic minutes down the stretch. Now if we can just have someone...anyone to start performing even close to where they were...
It appears that one of those main trees in the plaza did not make it. If you look back a few pages, all three trees are green. Now one is brown.
Yea you are not winning that game when Washington and Hardaway have games like that. Plus Giddey being on that floor = free defender to do whatever they want.
I went to the game and it was fun, a...
Yes, I mentioned the above discussion when it was happening in real-time if you go back in this thread. I expected the NWS to issue separate tornado watches, one for far W, then one for C OK....
Hey that is cool! Bancfirst also had a new animation last night after the game was over, it said OKC WINS!
Storms coming into OKC right now are not very organized, a lot of cells going up around the area making it pretty murky. However, it is still technically SVR warned.
That storm is starting to look pretty powerful. The cells splitting off of it, also bear watching to the N as it all comes into OKC.
Looks like W Bartlesville took a direct hit. The line of storms and the tornado intersected directly on the town.
Weatherford and Hobart are lighting up now, like I mentioned earlier - the dryline is quickly smashing through this area and will encourage the development zone to shift SW. This will likely drape a...
Long-track threat is definitely waning. But anything even within lines will have rotation. As can be seen currently on the tail-end cell heading toward Okarche and N of Piedmont area.
Dryline is visible on Frederick radar, moving east at a good clip now. Should encourage development down to the SW. Keep an eye around Altus - Hobart - Weatherford.,
Yes, the dryline in that area has hardly moved this evening, definitely the conditional scenario further down there. The dryline is still W of Mangum and Elk City.
Looking at the remaining visible satellite data we have with the sun setting, there is no significant CU field for storms building up to the SW of C OK; however, HRRR keeps showing development well...
Full now-cast situation obviously - so tune into local TV mets. But the storm heading toward Fairview and another one heading toward Canton-Watonga area are big-time.
We should see these cells...
Latest short-range models suggesting cluster of supercells N of I-40 will track ENE, with 1-2 primary cells tracking more E closer to I-40. Even suggesting they will track over the same areas as they...
Not sure I have ever seen a MD mentioning strong tornados possible for storms that have just developed, or have not even developed. Very strong wording from NWS to mention an extreme solution before...
Watch parameters:
Tornadoes
Probability of 2 or more tornadoes
High (>95%)
Probability of 1 or more strong (EF2-EF5) tornadoes
High (90%)
Wind
Probability of 10 or more severe wind events
First watch coming out will be [mainly] for potential ahead-of-dryline cells that fire off early afternoon. HRRR has been consistent about these, but kills them off very quickly.
Today will be the first High Risk outline issued in over a year. And the first one in Oklahoma specifically in almost 5 years.
SPC has outlined 15% probability of severe storms for this coming Monday evening.
A grinder series going to 6 or 7 with Clippers beating out the Mavs is our best scenario, IMO. OKC will be fresh, and hopefully this time be ready (unlike R1, G1).
SVR Watch is out for W OK, comes right up against OKC. Storms are mostly supercell in structure, so large hail is the primary threat. Low chance of tornado activity, but threat does exist.
May see a few storms pop up tonight, but development will be very random. N OK is the best shot at any type of organized cells.

I will take Clippers over Mavs all day. OKC's young guys can run them into the ground. Zubac cannot stop Chet. It would be nice for start time to play Dallas, but I will take the better matchup.
