26,000 people with only 20,000 parking spots lol.
Seriously tho, Tinker is its own city. If something drastic happened, we could close the gates and sustain just fine.

NW Corner of 29th and Sooner

There have been tons of trucks and dirt moving for a few months now.
Does anybody know what is planned?

    Re: 7 Eleven

I've noticed since the buy-out that their gas is not one of the cheapest around anymore. :( Even with their 5-cent-off card, Sam's and Walmart are BY FAR cheaper.

    Re: Uptown / 23rd District

Slightly off-topic but I always wondered: were all these big, old houses originally built as single-family homes? (Including the ones south of 23rd too.)

Re: Meridian Lanes on Sw 29th and Meridian

The bowling alley must've gotten an offer they couldn't refuse. They desperately needed to update but they were still busy. It sucks they're closing.

This is actually a great spot for a big, new...

Just wait until next week when adult softball starts back up. We use those fields Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and sometimes Sunday.
We should’ve started summer league last week but I won’t...

    Re: New State Fair Arena

Two huge Affair of the Heart shows are there every year. The auto show is there also.

They didn’t want the Bennett center to be an arena, they wanted a huge convention center. Correct me if I’m...

    Re: Scissortail Park

I love the name, that's the one I voted for! I personally won't be shortening it to The Tail; it's not that long of a name to begin with.

Oh, boo. They've cleared the entire lot so that's probably what it is.
I was hoping it'd be food.

    Sooner Rd. south of I-240

Some dirt is being moved on Sooner Rd. just south of the Popeyes on the west side of the road. Anybody know what is going in?
  14. Re: Looking for best Mexican Restaurant in OKC area

San Marcos! There are several locations but my friend owns the one on MacArthur and NW 39th (just north). The food is amazing and their drinks are ridiculous in a good way.

Nah, actually y'all had me laughing out loud at work.

  16. Re: New comedy centering around Oklahoma City slated to air on Bravo

I was excited until I heard what it's about. Seems like just another TV show pushing the liberal agenda. I'm pretty sure it'll make fun of Okies and their ideals.
I could be wrong but I highly...

That's just crazy to say that Target and Walmart aren't the same. Just because you hate Walmart doesn't mean they're not similar to your favorite store.

I go to Walmart (in Mustang, where I live)...

I hope OG&E does a small tribute to it in their new, boring building.
  22. Re: Report: Texas Rangers tried to buy Oklahoma City Redhawks.

I love this purely for selfish reasons! The Rangers are my team, not the Astros. I love to be able to go see the guys who are rehabbing and to watch new guys before they go pro. That's the reason...
