  4. Re: Cooking fried rice with that very "roasted" or "nutty" wok scent and taste?

It might help to change the way you cook the rice to begin with. I've seen some rice recipes that have you put the rice and some oil/fat in the pan and sort of brown or toast it before you add water...

Re: Oklahoma City Museum of Art

So, is anybody in the know? How did we manage this? Is there an (new?) aggressive scheduler at OKCMOA? or have we always been fortunate, but it was just under the radar?

But here's the deal, in my opinion, OKC DOES have a (several, really) nice classy grocery stores ... just not one in your neighborhood. As I rail on in the Quality Grocery Stores in OKC thread,...

    Re: 2015 Oklahoma Earthquake Discussion

I laugh at it because it was fraught with mis-information from the get go. Edmond is NOT the earthquake capital of Oklahoma OR the world. Sure it's an op-ed piece ... of tripe.

    Re: SW 134th and May

I don't know how Sprouts feels about close competition (and I'm not all that familiar with either Sprouts or Natural Grocers), but there's a new Natural Grocers at 89th and Penn (give or take). Then...

I always feel like Homer Simpson correctly pronouncing "nuclear" when discussing my favorite Mexican food in OKC (CSA). I know it's all subjective, but I love a dinner made from the nacho plates at...

Re: Oklahoma smoking laws set to change

I've not noticed it, myself, but how do you see the ads as portraying the smoker as a victim?

    Re: American Indian Cultural Center

The only concern I have with a single tribe taking over the operations of the AICMM is the exclusion of the other tribes in Oklahoma. Not sure how that would be managed.
