It's a professional opinion but go off I guess, since you know better.
  3. Re: Pedestrian Bridge planned accross Northwest Expressway & Wilshire Boulevard

These were my thoughts as well after I went there, but we'll find out I guess
  4. Re: Pedestrian Bridge planned accross Northwest Expressway & Wilshire Boulevard

People who actually do this for a living have spoken on this subject.

Re: Paycom Center (formerly Chesapeake Arena)

It's been since 2006 since I was at the Suns arena, not sure if it's been replaced, but I did not enjoy the game experience at the time, the bowl layout seemed much farther away from the action in...

    Re: Kroger

In my case I only used Kroger because I was in isolation at the time. Normally I do and would only go to the grocery store.

Re: Ma Der Lao Kitchen (formerly Goro)

If you haven't listened to the recent "This is Oklahoma" podcast episode with Greg Horton, he mentions Ma Der in it. It's a VERY good interview and he makes great points.
  10. Re: Pedestrian Bridge planned accross Northwest Expressway & Wilshire Boulevard

LOL a safer intersection could have been done at-grade for much cheaper than putting this bridge in, they just didn't even try. But doing the safer at-grade intersection would have inconvenienced...

Used it for the first time this past weekend. Received an email about substitutions and an email confirming my delivery at the same time. So they substituted for me, but didn't ask me (which is...

    Re: OKC Regional Transit System

I DO think they need to get at the front of the ask-line because of all the things coming down the pike... Arena, 2027 GO bond, MAPS 5, Oops-we-still-can-pay-for-the-jail-give-us-more-money, etc

Re: The Strata (former Goodwill property)

When I first saw this I was confused since former Sandridge Tower is now Strata Tower. Like, cool project, but can you come up with an original name?

I made this comment on the other thread, but I like that there are creative proposals, but new surface lots should a no-no in this part of town.

Well... good to see some creative proposals anyway. New surface lots should be non-starters in this part of town, though.

Re: Full list of proposed MAPS 4 projects

It's not. They know they don't have the money for all of it. But they are making a master plan, so maybe what doesn't get done now can get targeted for later.

    Re: Scissortail Park

Is it possible for that to happen in the less than month before the lower park opens? Wouldn't think so, though I agree they should have done that.
  23. Re: OKC Public Schools proposed $955 million bond vote

Do we know if the timing is typical/expected (e.g. is this on a schedule like the GO bonds are), or did the school district jump on getting this on a ballot because they know over the next decade...
