  3. Re: Smitty Park (NW 44th & Billen), a little history

We discovered Smitty Park just a couple of weeks ago and were pleased with how nice and peaceful it is. The big, mature trees look so pretty this time of year. I had no idea it was there until we...

County assessor website says the structure was built in 1940. I happen to have a 1961 city directory so I looked it up. If it had originally been a motel (which is what it made me think of also), by...

Re: Don't Stress Meowt Cat Cafe

Do it! I can highly recommend adopting littermates. We have two wonderful cats who are now well over 12 years old. They were very tiny kittens (littermates) who had been dumped in our yard. Although...

Pete, do you ever hear any rumblings about the industrial laundry facility property on the block just to the south and east of this site?

I wondered about the 50 acres and whether that was way more than usual for an OnCue. Care to speculate, Pete?

    Re: Old Dolese Headquarters

According to the county assessor, the east building was built in 1929, the center building in 1905, and the west building in 1947. There might be some interesting stuff behind the more modern facades.
