There aren't enough pilots. Not for the regionals, not for mainline. Hence air service is still not back to pre-pandemic levels. Unfortunately RJ routes like OKC-MSP and OKC-DTW are low hanging...
The "free" checked bags though! Cracks me up.
I was going to say - it's been full both times we've taken it. Lots of vacationers to/from the Caribbean like us. Sucks that they would cut this in the winter season.
Cool add, would have expected something 737/A320 sized though! But UA is probably just short on crews and planes like everyone else.
Right? What a bizarre move by B6. I get that they want/need to expand and need planes and crews, but this merger just makes them stronger in ... New York and Florida? Whatevs.
Oh come on. I never insulted you, nor did I push you to insult me. Disagreeing with someone is not the same as insulting them.
And you have it backwards IMO - international flights are largely...
Haha right? Watch, now AC will swoop in and start ICT-YYZ/YVR just to troll us. Having said that, Whistler is truly one of our most favorite places, so we'd definitely consider driving up to ICT if...
Well let's hear it then. Many other airlines could profitably fly OKC-YVR or OKC-YYZ? Oh really? Which ones? WestJet? Flair? Lynx? Seriously? And so what that you didn't say Air Canada? Again, why...
Nice! I just checked some random dates in November and found it back on the schedule. Maybe just a temporary stoppage during hurricane season? I imagine this flight is mainly geared toward Caribbean...
Come on - you really expect that OKC could get up to 1m+ pax/year in connections? Huh? OKC is a spoke, not a hub. Our priority should be getting (re)-connected to all of the major domestic hubs. For...
Nice - I believe you can only redeem Flying Blue points for AF's F cabin right? They don't release any award space to partners? That's awesome
And as far as ownership - meh. Every airline/country...
MCE isn't "premium economy" - it's regular economy with extra legroom. Similar to "economy plus" on United. I know you know this but just so others aren't confused. Premium economy is an entirely...
In general the economy class seats on the A320 series aircraft are approximately 1 inch wider than on the 737s. Only an inch but makes a huge difference IMO. Airbus is really taking Boeing to the...
That's nuts! What on earth is happening at UA? Looking at going to Denver in June for a weekend and it looks like UA is down to 4x to DEN, and all on CRJ/ERJ equipment, not a single mainline...
I would think PHL comes back whenever it is that the world is more open again. It's by far AA's best hub for TATL connections. I know Europe hasn't been closed off necessarily but still, travel still...
I hope he enjoys his stay at the Shartel Hotel!
Still way too little mainline capacity from UA all around. Hopefully as the 200+ MAX start to come in, that frees up more mainline capacity for OKC. But at least this is something!
Ugh - we're in exactly the same boat. I am sick of AA and their complete trash product, but UA and DL just don't come close in terms of connectivity from OKC. It just stuns me that neither UA or DL...
Does Uber allow you to schedule rides? I've switched to Lyft and I think you can still schedule a ride in advance. Though even then I don't think it's guaranteed.
Dang - that's insane. Well, I guess that's why even at $12/day, the garage is always full to the brim!
Wow - looks stunning inside! Hopefully we'll feel comfortable to fully enjoy indoor dining one day.
And to those asking if there's really a demand for these many taprooms - pre-COVID literally...
Nice - I know you said UA has shifted their LAX strategy, but I sure wouldn't mind if they added OKC-LAX too. Of course would be great if OKC-EWR comes back, and maybe even 2x/day to better enable...
Not an engineer, but I'm curious how much engine technology has progressed? Their insanely high fuel burn was ultimately the downfall of the prior supersonic airliner(s).
LOL. A long walk? Seriously?
