Wonder how Swadley's will hold up with this news?
Wichita's Old Town is pretty nice for the size of ICT. Their downtown is nice and the NW and NE sides of town are put together pretty well. No reason to go south of Kellogg, but that's how I feel...
Dick's has great selection and does well with team/sports logo gear too. I've always felt like Academy doesn't have enough Thunder stuff. Hopefully Dick's will have more.
It's a beauty to drive under at night. Great decision to light it up!
If The City is smart, they'll keep the Cox Center there until about 15-20 years from now and then demolish it to make way for the next Thunder arena.
That'd be nice, but I can't see it happening after the near-recent re-do of that area. I think that light at Classen Cir/Military is as good as it'll get there. Looking at the map, a 50th/NWX light...
OK, that makes sense. Thanks.
The good news is, it would appear (by my untrained eye) that there's enough space to create a six-lane curve (three lanes in each direction) ramp that makes I-44...
I grew up out west. The INO I've had in Texas is exactly the same as I've had in Phoenix or LA.
The whole reason they expanded into Texas (and skipped New Mexico) is that they are building their...
This is what I call a "mind blown" thread, because, well, wow...

MidFirst is definitely up to something in the long-term. They just struck an interesting agreement with Arizona State to turn the school's ID cards into ID cards/debit cards connected with a MF bank...
That bridge is in super shape compared to the Crosstown. That said, I'd *guess* that whenever they replace the Belle Isle Bridge, they'd keep it elevated but put it on an earthen base. Random guess...
OK, cool. Still a ways to go, but man, that thing has really has taken form now. I love looking at it from all over town as I drive.
How many more feet (or floors) are left to build?
Several things:
1. The Key was opened in 1962 as the Seattle Center Coliseum. KeyArena - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
2. The MAPs Arena (aka Ford Center) was designed, built and planned to...
...And this is where sarcastic/jokey type comments don't do so well online.
I realize that. I was just implying that things would easily come together for them if they really wanted to do that...
That's no rumor. They really were. I haven't heard anything about this recently, but considering how difficult it can be for people not on the coasts to get to Orlando or Anaheim, putting a park in...
I know we have some skyscraper posts littered over this forum, but I was wondering if anyone on here knew the story heights of the buildings downtown, for Chase, KMG, etc.
Thanks!
And oh,...
Dangit Hot Rod, I was going to leave you alone until this part...
You make it sound like the rest of the country is okay with gay marriage and Oklahoma is some backwater holdout.
It's crazy...
I imagine it would have to do with the fact that the anchors aren't in SAG. Some might be, but most aren't, especially here.
Just an FYI: Anyone you see on TV or film that has a speaking role...
My vote? Build a massive parking garage just north of the U-Haul building, throw it in with MAPs3 and cap the parking price at $3. Let the tax pay for the construction and maintenance, with the $3...
Oh boy.
Time to get this thread back on track quick. The last two posts definitely are misplaced.
Here's something interesting and semi-NBA related, from Orlando. They have an arena vote on the...
I think you're over-reacting.
The take I took on this lady wasn't about her being fat or lazy, but rather that she's from Edmond and used to a certain way of doing things and the fact that it...
I agree with that. I love Edmond, but I'll say they definitely think their opinions matter more than most. And I don't consider a person living in Edmond to be a "visitor." I'm sorry, they're just...
I think this is just another pre-designed moment in this whole transition from Seattle to OKC. This was probably designed to be the official "three month warning" period where Bennett officially...
Nice read on the bowling center.
Random thought: How about a Dave and Busters somewhere in Bricktown? That would definitely add to the entertainment choices down there.
I look forward to the...
