I know they have long leases, I saw the same thing at a Wal Mart in Texas, Murphy tore everything out and put an updated Murphy store in its place.
Murphy is a separate company, they are based out of El Dorado, AR. I don't think Wal-Mart is adding any new Murphy USA stores to it's property. I would assume there is some type of long term lease...
Did any one know any more about this? Is DPS replacing the entire system? They just rolled the current system out right before covid. ...
Martin, I think you are right, 7-11 may have sold it. But that building looked like the original Circle K's that we had in the 1980's. My kid's school is right around the corner. That lot seems too...
I've recently separated from my spouse, my lease is up in June and I plan to purchase a house, do you think I should start looking now for houses?
I'm an OSU guy that worked at OU for 10 years, no way that is an authentic football. It was early 2000's around when Stoops came they changed to that style of logo.
Yes, I drive by that store a couple times a week, they remodeled and added the Laredo Taco, but that store is so dirty now. Now I try to go to the On Cue at 39th and Rockwell.
In reference to the SH 74/ Hefner Parkway comments on the quality of construction, I've seen other posts in a different thread note that Hefner Parkway gets a lot less semi truck traffic than the...
Like others a city county government would be a lot more effective and accountable to the citizens. I don't have anything against the Sheriff, assessor, court clerk, but I think it's crazy that they...
Those wanting to rehab the building, how do you get past the 6 foot 10" clearance on the top 3 floors? I'm not an engineer, but I would think you would almost have to demolish those floors. After...
Wow, I didn't always agree with all of Boren's decisions but after working at OU for 8 years I personally saw how much he loved that University. I can't think of anyone who has done more for OU than...
Ward is right, I noticed they have new registers. Last week they had all the pumps closed off at NW 23 and Mac Arthur, it looked like they were working on the card reader area.
You have to remember, as some have mentioned, even if you have some take out business, it's not enough to pay mortgage/rent, loan obligations. I think in a lot of cases the employees are better off...
Site work has started at the South Western location.
Hopefully they will add a donut shop and a dispensary too! Fingers crossed!
I do know of one instance, there was an addition built onto the Price College of Business that was supposed to be a snack bar. It was fully built out, custom cabinets, counter tops, just needed food...
What wonderful news! Congrats Pete! I really appreciate what you do here with OKCTalk
My children also went to the OCCC Child Development Center, they kept shortening the hours of operation. Right after we took our kids out, they were only open 9 hours a day. That's barely enough...
Pete, are you saying that you don't expect to live to be 150 years old?!
That is right Dave, I forgot about the "Double" Homeland! It's hard to believe that Homeland is still in business. That store was the second closest grocery to my house and I have not been there in...
The Homeland at 104th and Penn was originally an Albertson's. They moved their store from 104th and Western to the 104th and Penn location. Then Albertson's pulled out of Oklahoma a couple years...
I've seen Waffle Houses on consecutive interstate exits, they may leave them both.
Is the construction at the Weokie credit union next door, or at Joe's Crab Shack? I drove by that yesterday.
