    Re: Population Growth for OKC

This is Anecdotal, of course, but I’ve never seen so many West Coast / non-rental car license plates driving around OKC.

They seem to be moving here in Droves.

    Re: Solo's Park and Pub

That just doesn’t seem like enough acreage for a dog park.
Especially if the dogs have been drinking.
I would guess the dogs will fight?

    Re: Covid-19 in OKC (coronavirus)

A lot of those people will eventually come around.
Plus, the antibodies are fairly durable.
    Powerful combination with the vaccines.

    Re: Ted's Cafe Escondido

+1. BTT arguably has the better menu, but Ted’s execution + that bar are just on a different level.

    Re: Covid-19 Vaccine Information

I’m a bit surprised that Congress wouldn’t have allocated at least a Trillion or so to incentivize the more hesitant folks.

The City is doing alright for the most part. You can find your Returns if you know what you’re doing.

Re: The Downside to Stimulus Money

I’ve heard that federally backed mortgages are eligible for loan modifications at very attractive terms.

It’s basically a cost-free refi, and the borrower gets a brand new 30 or 40-year term.

Re: The Downside to Stimulus Money

A $5,600 or $7,000 check (tax free) when paired with unemployment + the new child tax credit is actually rather material, especially if your landlord/lender is prohibited from pursuing eviction or...

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder 2020-21 season

Would be nice to accidentally win the #1 pick and have Houston fall to #5.

Not quite like drawing an Inside Straight, but pretty close.

    Re: Covid-19 in OKC (coronavirus)

There’s obviously a Venn Diagram element to Herd Immunity. Oklahoma is way above 30% when you consider all of the current and past infections + vaccinations.

    Re: Covid-19 Vaccine Information

It’s not like Polio or Rubella. They knew, early on, that it would behave like the flu (i.e., continue to circulate and require yearly inoculations), regardless of any vaccine’s effectiveness.
