Re: What old business do you remember in OKC?
Read a story about Linda Soundtrak last night. I had a hard time believing someone would be that silly and other people looked up to them. But, I guess money does talk....

Boy, I try my best not to. If that guy were selling gold bars for $ 1.00 I'd just lose out.....I don't really like to have my personal intelligence put on the line like that........I don't normally bum wrap someone like that...boy give me a break.....I'd rather watch Lynn Hickey Dodge commercials:..."Hi folks, Tom Park here"....

Funny you mentioned that....a classic....remember when him and evil knievel were up in that van on the crane? A friend of mine worked there and said when they lowered them down from siting up there all day on a saturday, the van smelled of whiskey and vomit....hahaha
One commercial showed evil knievel blowing up the car on the ground with a missile fired from the van......OMG how desperate he must have been to do that commercial!

Also named her son Slugo (or so the comercials said)
In the late 70's they didn't have much compitetion for
discounted higher end electronics.
Silo, among others moved in and things changed.

Re: What old business do you remember in OKC?
I know this is hard to believe, but I haven't watched or listened to a
commercial since @1986. Oh, every once in a while I might hear the first
few seconds, but that's because I can't get to the mute or we're at a
restaurant. I have a timer that I set when I'm in the truck. I've used it, or
one like it since @86! I drive Prunette nuts with my OCD on commercials. I
also have a universal remote control that I use when we go out.
I can't stand them.
However, and it's a big however, those that are from the old days of TV don't
bother me so much. They didn't start stinking until Pepsi in @67?
At any rate, I can't stand commercials.

I've played 7-11 commercials among other things. I refused top listen to any
part of them.
I'm on a Jimmy Houston fishing video! There are many other things but who
cares. Commercials stink, but they pay good!
